Booking conditions and cancellation policy

BOOKINGS 

When booking through the Camping Etxarri reservation platform, you have access to the following rates: Flexible rate, Early Booker, Best Available Rate, and Superflexible.

Flexible rate: Available up to 16 days before arrival.

This rate comes with special cancellation and prepayment conditions. Customers who choose this rate will benefit from a free cancellation period up to 15 days before arrival without having to pay anything at the time of booking. The reservation made remains a provisional request until 15 days before check-in. At that time, a charge of 35% of the total amount of the stay will be made to the credit card provided by the client. The remaining 65% will be charged 24 hours before arrival. If the client does not make the payment within the stipulated period, the reservation will be automatically canceled. The client is duly informed of all procedures through the contact channels provided on the booking platform.

If the cancellation is less than 15 days before arrival, 35% of the total stay amount will be charged for bookings during peak season (Easter (28th, 29th, and 30th March 2024 and from 21st June 2024 to 15th September 2024). In the case of low season (rest of the year), if the cancellation is less than 15 days before arrival, the first night will be charged.

In the event of not showing up before midnight on the day of the reservation without having communicated a delay in check-in, the campground will keep the full amount charged without the customer having the right to demand a refund. The campground then reserves the right to offer the accommodation for rent again from the next day. There is no refund for the remaining nights in case of modification or early departure during the stay.

Early Booker Rate. Available up to 45 days before arrival.

High Season: (Easter (28th, 29th, and 30th March 2024 and from 21st June 2024 to 15th September 2024).

Flexible Rate 15 days: Cancellation free of charge up to 15 days before the arrival date. If the cancellation is less than 15 days before arrival, 40% of the total stay amount will be charged.

15 days before arrival, a charge is made to the customer’s card for 35% of the total stay amount. The remaining 65% will be charged 24 hours before arrival. If the customer does not make the payment within the stipulated period, the reservation will be automatically canceled. 100% of the total amount will be charged at the time of booking. In case of cancellation or modification, no refund will be made.

Super Flexible Rate:

Flexible Rate 72h: Cancellation free of charge up to 3 days before the arrival date. Less than 72 hours before arrival, the first night will be charged.

Accommodation reservations for high season or special periods are subject to a minimum stay, which may vary from 3 (three) nights to 7 (seven), with exceptions duly identified on the booking platform.

Conditions/promotional discounts are subject to availability confirmation and are not transferable to third parties. To take advantage of certain promotions/discounts, the customer is requested to enter a promotional code. Promotions cannot be combined.

On our website, we offer the best price guarantee. This means that if you find our accommodation cheaper on another website, we will match the price. To match the price, the reservation must be for the same accommodation and type, for the same check-in and check-out dates, and have the same conditions and cancellation policies. You simply need to provide us with the link to the other offer with the best price, and it must be online and available when we verify it.

When booking accommodation, the price applies to the maximum occupancy of available beds in the accommodation.

All accommodations are equipped with kitchen utensils. Cribs are optional and must be requested at the time of booking (subject to availability). Towels and bed linen are included in the price. Beds are made upon arrival.

Reservations only bind the campsite if it has accepted them, which it is free to do or not do, based on availability and, in general, all circumstances that may affect the execution of the reservation. The campsite offers family-oriented stays in the traditional sense, so accommodations are specially designed for this purpose. The campsite reserves the right not to accept reservations that go against this principle or try to distort it.

The reservation of a pitch or accommodation (bungalow, cottage, mobile homes, tents, etc.) is strictly personal. Under no circumstances can the reservation be sublet or transferred without the prior consent of the campsite.

Minors must always be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.

Pitches

The basic price includes 2 people plus caravan + car or motorhome + electricity, access to the toilets, and the camping facilities.

Accommodations

The accommodations are fully equipped. The basic price is for 2 up to a maximum of 6 people depending on the type of accommodation and the camping site.

The camping site reserves the right to deny access to groups or families that arrive with a number of members exceeding the capacity of the rented accommodation.

CANCELLATION AND MODIFICATIONS 

  1. Modification of the reservation

The customer may request changes to their stay at the same campsite (dates, type of accommodation) by submitting a written request to the campsite (email info@campingetxarri.com), subject to availability and possibilities, as well as the application of surcharges if the new dates have higher prices than those previously requested. No postponement of the stay to the following season will be accepted. In the absence of changes, the customer must carry out their stay according to the initial conditions of the reservation.

  • Any request to extend the duration of the stay will be responded to based on availability and current rates.
  • Any request to reduce the duration of the stay will be considered a partial cancellation and will be subject to the cancellation and interruption conditions.
  1. Unused Services

In the event of an interrupted or shortened stay due to one of the following reasons:

  • Closure of borders by administrative decision
  • Administrative closure of the campsite
  • Limitation of travel by administrative decision to a number of kilometers that does not allow access to the campsite

The campsite will proceed to issue a voucher for the amount corresponding to the unused nights, which will be valid for two years. In the event that the customer rejects this voucher, the corresponding amount will be refunded upon request, minus the cost of the cancellation insurance if it has been contracted.

Except for the reasons mentioned above, neither a refund nor a voucher can be provided for any interrupted or abbreviated stay (late arrival, early departure) by the customer, as well as for weather-related reasons.

  1. Cancellation by the Campsite

In the event of cancellation by the campsite, except in cases of force majeure, all amounts paid for the reservation will be refunded. However, this cancellation will not entitle the customer to compensation for damages.

  1. Cancellation caused by the customer

In the event of cancellation caused by the customer, except in cases of force majeure, the cancellation and refund conditions will be as follows.

Any cancellation request must be communicated by email to info@campingetxarri.com. Cancellations communicated by phone will not be considered. Any cancellation implies the termination of the reservation, and the campsite reserves the right to offer the accommodation for rent again.

In case of cancellation by the customer, due to one of the following reasons (preventing the stay):

  • Closure of borders by administrative decision
  • Administrative closure of the campsite
  • Limitation of travel by administrative decision to a number of kilometers that does not allow access to the campsite

The campsite will issue a voucher for an amount corresponding to the total sums paid, which will be valid for two years. In case of rejection of the voucher by the customer, the corresponding amount will be refunded upon request.

Cancellation for any other reason: It will depend on the rate selected by the customer as each rate has its cancellation conditions as previously stated.

GROUP RESERVATION 

Any reservation for more than 4 accommodations made by a single individual or by several individuals who know each other, traveling the same route for identical reasons, and whose stay is planned for the same dates at the same campsite, is considered a group reservation.

The accommodations offered on the campsite’s commercial website are exclusively for individual customers.

To request a group reservation, you must always contact the campsite by phone at +34 948460537 or by email at info@campingetxarri.com. The campsite reserves the right to examine the reservation request before its acceptance or rejection.

RATES AND MUNICIPAL STAY TAX 

The prices indicated are valid for the 2024 season. They are per night and are in euros, including VAT.

The amount of the tourist stay tax may vary depending on the autonomous community, if applicable.

Rates are subject to change during the season.

THE STAY 

  1. Arrival

Accommodations: On the day of arrival at the campsite, you will be welcomed from 4:00 PM onwards, and when handing over the keys to the accommodation, a deposit may be requested.

  1. During the Stay 

It is the customer’s responsibility to watch over their personal belongings (bicycles, etc.). The campsite disclaims any responsibility in case of incidents related to the customer’s civil liability. The property is not responsible for the loss, theft, misplacement, or breakage of any personal items. All customers must accept the provisions of the internal regulations. Each customer who is the holder of the accommodation is responsible for the inconveniences and damages caused by the people camping with him or coming to the campsite to visit.

  1. Departure

Accommodations: On the day of departure indicated in the contract, the accommodation must be vacated by 11:00 AM and must be returned in perfect cleanliness, with the inventory being verified. The camper is responsible for all broken or damaged items, as well as the repair of infrastructures if necessary. In the case of having requested a deposit, it will be returned at the end of the stay, deducting any relevant compensation, with justifying invoices, for possible damages found during the check-out. The retention of the deposit does not exclude additional compensation if the expenses exceed the amount of the deposit.

Accommodations: If the accommodation has not been cleaned at the time of departure, a minimum cleaning surcharge of €95 VAT included will be requested (see the “Rates” page of the campsite).

In case of late departure, an additional day may be billed according to the current nightly rate.

PETS

Pets are allowed in the campsite for a fee paid at the time of booking. When their entry is authorized, they must always be on a leash. Pets are prohibited in the vicinity of the pools, in food stores, and in buildings. The vaccination records of dogs and cats must be up to date.

IMAGE RIGHTS

You authorize the campsite, as well as any other person designated by the campsite, to photograph, record, or film you during your stay at the campsite and to exploit such images, sounds, videos, and recordings on any medium (especially on the campsite’s websites or pages, including Facebook and Instagram, on presentation and promotion materials of the campsite, and in travel or tourist guides). This consent applies to both you and all persons staying with you. Its sole purpose is to ensure the promotion and animation of the campsite and network, and under no circumstances will it undermine your reputation. This consent is provided free of charge, for all countries, and for a period of five years.

DISPUTES

Any possible claim regarding the non-compliance of services with contractual commitments can be communicated by regular or electronic mail to the campsite manager.

MEDIATION 

If you are not satisfied with the response received, you may refer to the Mediation Center of the autonomous community where the campsite is located, after a period of one month from sending your postal or electronic mail.

CAMPING LIABILITY

The campsite strives to ensure the updating of all information published on the campsite’s website, including presentation photographs, ratings, activities, leisure, as well as services and opening dates. However, since part of this information is sometimes projects, and the photos are from the manufacturers of the accommodations themselves, the photos and information on the website are not contractual. Therefore, the campsite will only have an obligation of means.
